Safe, reliable hydrogen storage is key to the advancement of the hydrogen economy. Due to its unique low volumetric density, hydrogen requires the development of advanced storage methods. Likewise, there are important considerations regarding hydrogen transportation. This panel will discuss the key considerations and forthcoming commercial projects that will ensure hydrogen is safely stored and transported, including a review of options for blending hydrogen and natural gas and converting hydrogen to ammonia for easier transport in pipelines and by rail or ocean.
This webinar is aimed at helping ILTA members to understand and prepare for their role in the hydrogen economy and to discuss real projects under way, such as those that blend hydrogen and natural gas or require hydrogen storage/distribution (or in some cases, ammonia storage/distribution).
